Dr. Swanson is a very caring professional eye specialist, and surgeon. I have been to see him at several of his locations and all of his staff are so kind and knowledgeable.

Have been a patient of Dr. Kaufers for many years and have recommended him to many family and friends. He is not only a superb ophthalmologist but also a fine gentleman and decent (and interesting) human being. His staff is also excellent as well.

His staff take no responsibility in seeing their jobs as health care providers, he literally can't handle an eyesight prescription at the marana location, and he should also probably see a dentist about possible tonsil stones. He'll recommend optional surgery that has nothing to do with why you came in, however. Then - try paying your bill, fail, try again - fail again, then find you've been sent to collections for literally receiving zero care.

The exceptional patient care, from reception to care they are excellent

Dr Swanson and staff were very attentive, helped select PureSee EDOF lenses for full range of vision from reading to distance without correction. I opted for the Lensar laser for more accurate lens removal and replacement and would definitely choose all of the same people and products if I were to choose again. My vision is way better than I expected from the J&J online simulator and better than a retired optometrist friend told me to expect. Pretty much perfect in my opinion and I am less than a week since the surgery. I understand vision will get even better up to the 4th week but I expect incremental improvements since so good already. I am already declaring full success.
