Excellent team of doctors and staff!

Everyone was pleasant and knowledgeable. I had been taken on my appointment time and clarity was given at each room I visited. I have been going here with Dr Root for 26 years.

The staff and Dr. Meyer were amazing . Professional and caring at the same time . They listened to a concern I had and assured me it was taken care of and it was . This procedure was the first cataract removal and will have the second in two weeks . I highly recommend Tomoka Surgical Center, Dr. Meyer and Staff .

Dr. Myer has been my ophthalmologist since I moved to Florida in 2013. At that time he corrected the vision in my “lazy eye” from 20/200 to 20/30! Miraculous!This year he performed lens replacement on both my eyes. Despite an underlying eye condition, I have 20/20 vision, and only use “cheaters” to read small print. Thank you Dr. Myer and your skilled, attentive and cheerful staff; each time I have an appointment your team makes me feel special!

I have been going to Tomoka Eye since we moved to Ormond Beach in 2015 from South Florida. I am a retired RN who worked in the OR, so I know how important finding the right doctor can be for excellant patient care. My sister, who has lived and worked in the Ormond Beach area recommended Tomoka Tomoka Eye. I am very pleased with the care I receive from Dr Root and would not go to anyone else in the Ormond Beach area. The staff at Tomoka Eye are great too because they are respectful and caring as well.

Dr. Root is excellent! Staff is friendly and accommodating as much as possible as it is a very busy practice. Optometry staff extremely helpful with ordering glasses with very tricky lenses.
