My late wife Peggy and I were patients of Dr. Thurber at the Center for Eye Care for many years. I am now seeing Dr. Matherne there, and I have found him to be an excellent doctor who is careful to explain what is going on with my vision. After years of trying to find a doctor who was conversant with vertigo, I asked Dr. Matherne about some weird visual effects I had been experiencing. After assuring me to just enjoy the visuals, he also told me that vertigo can happen in the brain as well as the inner ear. No one had ever told me that before. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Matherne for that diagnosis.
Very knowledgeable staff, all friendly and professional all have a great bedside manner.
