I went to the Meridian location on McMillan. It was really convenient to book the appointment online; however, I don’t recall any notice that I’d have to complete a video consultation before my first appointment. It may have been mentioned and I didn’t notice it. before your appointment, they send you a link and tell you you MUST complete it before your first appointment. I filled out the forms online, but then you have to do a video consult. No big deal except they send it I think 24 hours before your appointment. In fairness, I scheduled online over the weekend outside of business hours for a Tuesday, and so Monday may have been the first chance they could send it. You can schedule a time, but I’m not sure what hours are available. I did not have time to do it and wasn’t anticipating it, but because I was required to put a credit card on file for the appointment, I had to do the consult during work hours because I wasn’t sure if they would consider it a cancellation and didn’t want my card charged. you fill out medical history online, and then a nurse asks you a bunch of questions on a video that you could have answered and did answer in the online forms you filled out before you get to the video link. The building and interior is beautiful. When you check in, they offer you your choice of flat, sparkling or coconut water. The service and person I saw were nice. This just seemed very standardized and minimal. I have not had worse, but I’ve had much better experiences. When I checked out, the tip screen popped up. I was a bit flustered because I didn’t recall ever being asked for a tip on a medical procedure before. Because I was flustered, I wanted to double check, and I asked the girl at the front desk if it was a tipping procedure. She said that while it’s not expected because it’s a medical procedure, it’s appreciated. It made me intensely uncomfortable. I did leave online feedback regarding this, and the office contacted me to ask if I wanted the tip refunded. I expressed that I don’t think they should be even implying that we should be tipping medical professionals, and she explained that they can’t set up their system to differentiate between tipping services and no tipping services. I get it. If it were my business, I would have a policy where I told clients to skip the tip screen or just say it’s not a tipping procedure when asked. If somebody is adamant, they will tip. It is generally considered UNETHICAL to accept tips for these treatments. Because they have a functional medicine component, I asked if I had visited the doctor if the doctor would also appreciate tips, but I did not receive a response. If you want to tip on your medical procedures, there are places that do a much better job with small touches that make the service more comfortable and tip worthy.

Second time coming to Skin N Tox to see Taylor for a Hydrafacial, and it was just as enjoyable if not more than the first time. Staff is friendly. Taylor is AMAZING, I highly recommend going to see her!! I left feeling calm, refreshed, and with beautiful glowing skin! The facility is very well kept, they have lots of products to shop from, as well as services offered. I can’t wait to go back!

I gifted my Mom the SEASONAL POMEGRANATE REFINING PEEL FACIAL about a year ago and she finally got around to pampering herself. The aesthetician she had seen multiple times is no longer at SNT so she was booked with Nat. After her facial she called me on the way home to tell me what an amazing human Natalie is. She said the facial was incredible but she most enjoyed the conversation and hearing all about her new aestheticians life. She had an amazing experience! Thank you for taking such great care of my Mom and giving her some deserving me time 🫶🏼
