From the first consult to the post op visit, you feel like you are in the priority line at the airport. Dr Shewmake and entire staff make you feel cared for and special. The aftercare at Zen is also a wonderful experience. I’m so happy with my results. I highly recommend Dr Shewmake and Zen for aftercare recovery.

Dr. Shewmake, RaeAnn, Jill, and all staff are absolutely the top notch in this medical field. They have a heart to serve God and will be there to fulfill your physical, emotional, and spiritual state. You won’t find another clinic that is more compassionate, supportive, and prayer warriors. I began this journey thinking this would all be a physical improvement; however, God has showed out emotionally and spiritually. You will not regret choosing these providers to meet your wants and needs. Photos are 9 days post-op. Final results will be 6-12 months. I’m currently extremely swollen, which is completely normal. I also have padding over my incisions for comfort.

Dr. Shewmake is an extremely skilled surgeon! He and his staff are very dedicated to making their patients feel comfortable and make themselves available. I had an allergic reaction to steri strips after a major surgery and all I had to do was text Shewmake and I had steroids within a couple hours. His nurse Jill is so awesome and relatable and is great at making you comfortable and I never left with and of my questions or concerns unanswered. I would recommend over and over again! Great doc but also just a great guy in general!

Dr Shewmake has to be the kindest, most genuine doctor of any kind I have ever visited. He gave me more than ample time to understand the process and patiently and thoroughly answered all of my questions. He very tactfully pointed out the areas of surgery he felt I was not addressing, showing me, in the most professional way, what he felt would benefit me the most. I never, ever felt he was trying to sell me a service. He is much too professional ever to do that. I felt I would be safe and secure throughout the process and pleased with my results. Raeanne, his Surgical Nurse, went over the post surgery protocol and I was pleased to know I would receive nursing from professionals in a boutique hotel if I chose, rather than relying on my circle, since I live an hour away. I believe they have made this as stress-free as possible. Further, I will receive the latest deep plane techniques. as well as, access to additional therapies to make healing much quicker Can’t wait to begin my journey. Oh, and the office is beautiful and modern, as well.

I had my first visit, consultation, yesterday. I was impressed with the attentiveness of the staff. Dr. Shewmake was very informative. He answered my questions and told me my options. He did a good job of explaining my treatment options. I will return for treatment once I determine some other health issues. It was a great experience!

Dr. Shewmake is not only an excellent surgeon, he also listens to the patient, their concerns and what type of result they are trying to achieve. His bedside manner is very kind and considerate. Even during Covid I felt everyone one of his staff were doing everything they could to be sure that Covid was not an issue in the main office and in the surgery center. I've had 2 surgeries with him 2 years apart and have been extremely happy with both of them.
