I was looking for a new local Botox provider since my previous injector is in Texas. I had a few things done, including my crow’s feet, lip flip, and TrapTox. My previous TrapTox treatment was 12 units total (6 per side), and it worked really well for me. I wanted to gradually increase that to 24 units total (12 per side). When I told Natalie this, she seemed genuinely taken aback by how low my previous dosage was and by my preference to stay more conservative. She explained that 40–50 units per side was the “standard” and that 40 was the lowest she would do. Even after confirming that this was the lowest amount she would provide, I ultimately went with her recommendation. She also said, “You can even ask ChatGPT.” I actually did, because the conversation made me start questioning myself even though I came in pretty confident about what had worked for me before. I completely respect that she has her own preferences and standards as a provider and may simply not feel comfortable going lower, that’s totally fine. But the reaction I got to my preference made me feel uncomfortable and, honestly, a little unwanted as a patient. I left feeling like I had to do 40 in order to be treated. The treatments themselves were fine, but overall I just don’t think this was the right fit or energy match for me, so I won’t be returning.
