I have recently referred several friends to Crofton Podiatry. I had a toe nail that was broken in half. Dr. Uzomah has been great. He is gentle and caring to minimize discomfort. The environment is very clean and sterile.

While Crofton Podiatry was lovely, good luck with getting the $200 deposit back. I was told it took from November when I paid to March 3 to get approval from my insurance. I understand if that’s a failure on the insurance part. However, I then called Potomac Podiatry’s billing department once who said it was processed and would be sent shortly. That was one month ago. I have yet to receive a refund. When I called today I spoke to someone who doesn’t deal with that account. While she attempted to be helpful, she couldn’t answer my question. Now I have to wait for another call back. I was also told since it’s the end of the month that may slow things down. This is the first podiatrist where I’ve had to put a deposit for insoles and the longest I’ve ever waited for a refund on anything. Even if my insurance took that long I was never updated and if I didn’t keep calling who knows if I ever would get my refund back.
I had excruciating pain in my foot from plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis and tibial tendinitis which was causing pain to walk and affecting my ability to run as well. Dr Bruning diagnosed the issues and recommended custom orthotics, PT and also provided a cortisone shot for immediate comfort. The treatment has been life changing. I honestly did not realize just how much pain I was in until I wasn’t in pain anymore. Now I’m back to walking and running without pain!
