I took my son here today and found that the doctor who saw my son was great. He was kind, but that visit lasted all of 5 to 10 minutes. Why I am giving this office 1 star is the experience before and after we met the doctor. After the nurse checked my sons vision and told me what it was I called my husband concerned as we had been in the room waiting for a while for my son’s measurements. When the woman came in to do the measurements she was obviously annoyed with me being on the phone off the bat. I immediately hung up on my husband but her attitude stayed the whole time. She did not introduce herself to me or my 4 year old. She was rushed with my son and frankly rude. Her presence was nasty. Additionally, upon checking out we were hit with an additional $100 dollar bill on top of our copay which we were not expecting. $25 of that was a prescription fee I’ve never heard of and they wouldn’t give me the prescription to get my sons glasses unless it was paid. It would have been completely fine if this was all explained to me beforehand but it was not and the front desk receptionist who was called over to explain it to me was rude and did a poor job explaining it. The person who actually took my payment was kind and understanding. Not to mention this office is unkept and not great looking with no kids toys…. It’s a pediatric office.

Dr. Hunt and his staff are the absolute best! They are so kind and work so well with my daughter. I cannot recommend them enough!

Great staff and wonderful doctors!! Felt like I was in extremely good hands. I had been to a previous eye surgeon but wanted a second opinion. Dr. Packwood and Dr. Skanchy were terrific. These doctors were a much better match for me. They explained everything involved and put me at ease. Highly recommend!

Wonderful patient staff. Can accommodate all children and are very sweet to even the most difficult child. It is set up for any child no matter the disability. They are very kind and loving.

Dr. Hunt gives us such peace of mind when we visit with him. There is never any rushing. He takes such good care of our little girl. We would recommend him to everyone!

We have been seeing Dr. Hunt for years and absolutely love him. He’s great with kids and really takes time with each patient to explain what’s going on and helping both kids and parent to understand. Perfect bedside manner and would recommend him all day long.

I liked how attentive he was with my grandson My grandson was hit in the face with a baseball and his injuries could have impacted his eyesight. Dr. Norman was very thorough to insure his eyesight would be good going forward.

Dr. Packwood made me feel very comfortable, talking things through and explain explaining. We are very self-conscious when we have issues with our eyes and he made me have hope that everything will be fine after the surgery. I’m still very nervous about surgery though. I pray that with surgery, my eyes will be aligned again.

Dr Hunt diagnosed our daughter at 3 days old with congenital cataracts. He was so incredibly kind and comforting when giving us the news and has been incredible to work with a year later. Our girl had surgery at 7 & 8 weeks old and had another surgery at 5months old. We trust him so much with the care and eye health of our daughter. He is so thorough in the visits with us, takes his time explaining everything and just has such a calming, peaceful presence about him. We love Dr Hunt so much and are forever grateful for saving our daughter’s vision.
