Northwest Eye Physicians

I've been a patient for years with Northwest Eye and have had very positive service with the doctors and staff. But, last week was the practice was above great! I poked a stick in my eye. They worked me into their schedule within 15 min. Then the next day, when my pain became more intensive, they again worked me into their schedule. Wow! I was very satisfied with that service and the pain was relieved. It's been a couple yrs since I last posted a recommendation for Northwest Eye. I still remain a pleased patient. Yesterday I received care from a new doctor (Dr. Jen) to the practice. She was very thorough and professional with the problems I was having with my Cataract surgery. She took the time to explain what was happening and how to remedy the swelling (even adding some humor to the diagnosis.

Very poor experience first visit. Made appointment for a simple eye condition. Was pushed into several assessments right away by a technician (without even seeing a doctor), without explanation. I feel this was to run-up charges on my insurance. Coincidentally, at the front desk there is a note that indicates they routinely administer an eye exam that is not covered by insurance, and you are responsible fo stopping the technician from stopping the exam. Then, I was ushered to a dark room by myself to wait. So far have been at the facility for 45 minutes, no sign of physician, no updates. Had to leave facility without ever seeing a doctor.

Clinicians are always very friendly and thoughtful. They explain everything clearly.

This is one of the best run medical offices I have had the pleasure of visiting. The entire staff is efficient, knowledgeable & friendly. Appointments are on time too. Highly recommend.

I would have recommended them until my last 2 visits. Yesterday I waited 1.5 hrs to see the Dr for a normally scheduled appointment that I was on time for. My time is also valuable. No one had an answer for the delay. I have been coming to this practice for last 18 years but it seems that maybe their expansion and growth isn’t something they can handle to effectively take care of all patients. Perhaps if you saw a couple fewer patients each day ALL patients would have a better more efficient experience.
