Nevada Retina Center is an impressive first-class medical facility. Every staff member is totally professional. And I can’t say enough of positive things about the surgeon who performed my vitrectomy, Dr. Chris Wu. One year ago next week Dr. Wu met with me on a Saturday morning to discuss my emergency retinal detachment and he performed surgery the following Sunday morning. From the first meeting with him, Dr. Wu has been explaining everything including all options for the vitrectomy. His quick actions and surgical skills on a weekend saved my left eye. I am very grateful to Dr. Wu. And for the past year, with every follow up visit, he and his entire staff have been exemplary. I highly recommend Dr. Wu and the Nevada Retinal Center.

Visit was on 28 April 2026 appointment with Dr. Chris Wu. He is very welcoming and gives comfort. His demeanor on the explanation of the visit and procedures done is well understood. I love, trust and believe that he has provided the best care I needed. If needed I will continue with my visits under his care. The staff in the clinic are welcoming and friendly as well.. After my procedures with Dr. Wu, I was taken to the appointment desk to finish my check out, I wasn't able to see due to my procedures and was escorted, hand held and directed by two staff members to the appointment desk and then out to my transportation vehicle. I am very pleased with this service. I personally want to give thanks to everyone in the clinic. Got injections every 4 weeks for about 15 months. He originally said it would take 2-3 treatments. If something doesn't work why not change it? He didn't. I'm now blind. Have had one surgery and going to have at least one more. Also, this could have been treated with medication. Should have tried that first, but can't make much money off a prescription.

I was referred to the California Retina Center in SB for issue with detached retina. After exam, they wanted to operate the next day. Dr Chris Wu was my surgeon. He was easy to talk to, and now 8 weeks later I am glad to report the surgery was very successful. I highly recommend Dr Wu if you need retinal care.
