Do you know what a Morel-Lavallée is? It’s an internal degloving injury caused by a reckless driver. Going up and down the whole thigh requiring several surgeries and at least 50 stitches. Also a hand injury needing reconstruction skin grafts and a lower shin skin grafts. Anyway… Dr Pulikkottil is the very best surgeon and deserves the highest praise from all. Seriously, thank you Doctor! And thank you to the whole Burns and Reconstruction unit. 🙏💙

Benson J Pulikkottil MD pulled me through one of the most difficult health issues that I ever faced, and I broke my back in 1995. I had septic shock resulting from a sore that wouldn't heal not even with a wound vac system attached. With his expertise he was able to cut all the infected issue out and redo my body with my body. I was told this is the only place in the world that, that kind of surgery is done. I'm still recovering, after being home for 3 weeks I am getting my strength back and can walk quite a ways, with a stick even. I will never be able to thank Dr. Pulikkottil enough. My wife is also very grateful. We will never forget him. Thanks William J. and Ann Tintera

My husband had a serious injury to his thumb from an accident using a table saw. This injury could have resulted in an amputation, but Dr Pulikkottil was able to take skin, nerves, and blood supply from his index finger and bring it over to his thumb. He also reattached the tendon and repaired the shattered bone so he would have a working thumb that bends at the joints and has feeling! After the initial surgery, Dr Pulikkottil took skin from his upper arm and grafted it to his index finger to replace what was taken for his thumb. He is healing really well three months post surgery and is using his hand to do everything he needs to do in his business that requires use of his hands all day long! We feel blessed to have had Dr Pulikkottil’s expertise available to us and would recommend him to anyone with serious injuries requiring reconstructive surgery!
