I consider Dr. Speaker the single person who ruined my quality of life after getting a Lasik Procedure done from him in 2019. He offered absolutely no advice or insight into dry eye risks or acklowedged what should of been very obvious pre-existing conditions with my eyes. I now know today that I was showing very obvious signs of MGD, pre-existing dry eye and other risk factors for years. My life today revolves in being in constant pain with having now been diagnosed with Corneal Neuraglia and severe dry eye. I would have been a much better candidate for ICL had I even known that was an option but he just wanted to make a quick buck. Every surgery has risks but he didn’t even attempt to explain how the risks would apply to me specifically. I remember him not even saying two words about alternatives/risks other than handing me a packet showing 3 month patient experiences with his new Femto-Lasik machine. He bascially just said "when do you want to come in for the surgery" after looking at my eyes. Complete joke of a doctor and he needs to retire. Avoid this doctor at all costs, I wouldnt trust him to put eye drops in.

Dr. Speaker performed lasik surgery on me in Sept., 2001. I had an excellent outcome. I remember seeing clearly right after the surgery … eyesight I hadn’t had since 4th grade.I had large pupils and significant myopia and wanted an experienced , highly respected doctor. Doesn't bill your insurance for Cornea Cross-Linking. Uses a UK Non-FDA machine that he bills you $5000 out of pocket. I maybe blind but saw right through this

Dr. Speaker was my eye surgeon 26 years ago when I initially had PRK on one eye and subsequently Lasik on the other. The excellent results stand the test of time. Happy to say thank you, again, years later.

Dr. Speaker has been treating me since 1990. I have keratoconus and Dr. Speaker has done an amazing job with my extremely temperamental eyes. After I suffered a traumatic eye injury in 2020, he came down to the hospital to operate, even though the surgery was late at night. I trust him implicitly and highly recommend Dr. Speaker.

Cancels surgery at the last minute. Gives plenty of valium with shaky hands. I recommend a retirement.
