KC Eye Clinic

I got the mono vision one eye for near and the other eye for far for my cataract surgery. I was going to get the multi focal lenses but Dr Ohly said those can sometimes cause halos in low light and I also found a research paper online that stated the same. I am glad I did the mono -one near-one far option because the lenses provide crisp vivid color and good night vision. I went to my first KC Chiefs game which was a night game and was astounded at how vivid and clear the field and players were. I also had a canaloplasty for glaucoma which was successful at getting my pressure down. I had gone to two other ophthalmologists before Dr Ohly and am so glad I found his practice. Everyone in the clinic has been top notch

From the check-in at the KC Eye Clinic to the technicians and assistants who did the eye exams, the eye scans, and the intake information to Dr. Ketcherside, everyone was extremely professional, pleasant, and proficient in their jobs. Dr. Ketcherside is very personable, kind, knowledgeable and very confident. I will be back!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Eck and the Kansas City Eye Clinic. He is incredibly patient and truly takes the time to listen to my concerns and questions. Every visit, I feel heard and cared for. He gives a very thorough eye exam and explains everything clearly so I always understand what’s going on with my eyes and vision. On top of that, he’s extremely friendly and makes the entire experience comfortable. I always leave knowing I’ve received excellent care.
