I regret having to post this, but I have to do it. Be very careful if you go without insurance. They promise you one amount for an exam and, in the end, they charge you another. I asked the receptionist how much a glaucoma test, which they themselves recommended for my wife but was not covered by my insurance, would cost me. I asked them what the total would be and they gave me an amount. Believing that this was going to be the entire expense, they scheduled me for a second appointment just for the results. I was greatly surprised when, two weeks later, I received a bill for more money. "For the results consultation" even though I had asked the receptionist how much the total cost was because I did not want any surprises later. Furthermore, on the day of the supposed results, they didn't charge me, as they normally would after a consultation. What angered me the most was that when I called the billing department, a woman, and explained the information I had been given in the office in order to accept or decline the test, she told me that unfortunately there are new people in the company and they make mistakes. To this, I replied that I thought it was very wrong for the company to pass its problems on to the clients. In conclusion, they said they couldn't do anything about the bill and that I should do whatever I thought was appropriate, showing a complete lack of interest in customer satisfaction. It's a shame they have these people working there when there are others who need the job and treat clients better.

Dr. Stuart Kaufman performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes, implanting crystal lenses. He has treated one of my eyes for glaucoma and has performed other procedures for me. I have recommended his services to many people. He is a wonderful man with a caring and knowledgeable staff. I would not choose to go anywhere else! Mary T. 'Georgia' Bickford

It was very poor. He is condescending and a bully. He had no idea why my brother was there, he didn't look at the medical records provided by the prior ophthalmologist, and when he behaved so poorly, my brother went to another retinal specialist with five star reviews. The new retinal specialist was professional, kind, listened, reviewed my brother's prior records, and found none of the concerns that Dr. Faust recommended surgical procedures for. He should not be practicing medicine.

I’m deeply disappointed with Dr. Munger’s care for my 84-year-old mother. After a successful entropion surgery in 2017 with another doctor at Kaufmann Eye Institute, we returned in January 2024 for a repeat procedure with Dr. Munger. He recommended surgery on both eyes, despite only one being problematic. By December 2024, my mother needed surgery again. The appointment involved over an hour of waiting, and Dr. Munger spent less than 10 minutes with us, offering little explanation. He also contradicted his assistant, who had stated my mother had received two sutures in the first surgery—despite Dr. Munger claiming she had not. My mother was charged over $2,000 for these sutures. Despite promises to follow up, we have heard nothing from his office. This lack of transparency, poor communication, and repeated surgeries are unacceptable. I strongly recommend finding another surgeon. Save your time, money, and peace of mind.
