Very thorough exam, great staff. Takes a while to go through the whole exam/dilation process, (2 hrs), but to be expected in an Opthalmologist's office.

Very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. I have been coming to them for a couple of years. I know that once you visit this office you will not want to go anywhere else.

Staff is knowledgeable, and kind. Appointments are honored on time .

I was missing work and social obligations because of my eye problems. I consulting with several other ophthalmologists about my ongoing eye health issues. Finally my insurance refered me to the Kauffman Eye Institute. As far as I'm concerned the Kaufman Eye Institute saved my eyesight.

I've been a patient at the sun city clinic for about 10 years and primarily now see Dr. Jonathan Kauffman. Service has been professional and timely and much appreciated with Jon and staff. However, Refraction service by Dr Marquis is poor at best. My glasses include a prism to correct double vision which, after 2 attempts to correct, still are not working correctly. The 2nd time she told me they were as good as they would get. Yet, my Retina Specialist tells me that the prism probably needs 'adjustment'. After several months of this I'm getting another opinion at a different clinic. $600 for glasses and I still can't read properly and routinely see double in my right eye.
