This office experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. It began with multiple appointments where we were repeatedly told to “come back and check in” without clear answers or direction. During this time, I had bloodwork done that showed levels under the normal range, yet the doctor expressed no concern and did not investigate further or discuss possible implications with me. We also later discovered that the office had not been billing our insurance correctly and was instead charging us out of pocket until we questioned the payments ourselves. Only after bringing it to their attention did they begin processing our insurance appropriately. At another appointment, a nurse drew a very large number of blood samples — around 14 tubes — and laughed while saying, “I don’t think you should drive without eating something.” Despite this comment, I was not offered time to recover, food, water, or any monitoring after the blood draw. Most upsetting of all was the care I received during my pregnancy loss. When I went through both the medication process and later a D&C procedure, I was told to expect only “light pain” and was not prescribed any additional pain medication. The pain I experienced was some of the worst pain of my life. When I later expressed this to the doctor, I was shocked that the response was essentially questioning why pain medication had not been prescribed, rather than acknowledging the lack of preparation and support provided during such a traumatic experience. My previous review was removed so here we go again, I will not do an explanatory review BUT ALL I HAVE TO SAY PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE….STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!. MAYBE DR. JENKINS IS GOOD BUT HIS ENTIRE TEAM IS THE WORST AND THIS NEEDS TO BE SAID TO HIM ON YOUR VISIT, MAYBE HE WILL FIND OUT WHATS GOING ON IN HIS OFFICE… 1– NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONES. 2– WHEN DOCTORS GO ON VACATIONS THEY DO NOT LET YOU KNOW WITH TIME. 3–THE FRONT OFFICE IS ALWAYS ON THEIR PHONES AND DO NOT PAY ATTENTION. 4–THE BILLING DEPARTMENT OR DOCTORS ALWAYS OVERCHARGE OR MAKE EXTRA APPOINTMENTS JUST TO GET MONEY OUT OF YOuR INSURANCE. 5–SOME DOCTORS IN THIS OFFICE ARE THE WORST OUT THERE.. 6–THE PERSON THAT IS IN CHARGE OF ANSWERING THE REVIEWS KEEPS SAYING CONTACT THE OFFICE, BUT AGAIN NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONES.,,, SO IS THERE ANOTHER WAY TO CONTACT SOMEONE THAT WILL ANSWER TO PEOPLES COMPLAINTS… 7– PROBABLY DR.JENKINS NEEDS TO HIRE A WHOLE NEW TEAM …
Dr. Jenkins has been my doctor for over 20 years, and I couldn’t ask for better care. He is incredibly knowledgeable, takes the time to explain everything clearly, and always makes sure my questions are fully answered. What stands out most is how genuinely he cares about his patients—it never feels rushed or impersonal. I truly trust him, and I have no intention of going anywhere until he retires.
Very disappointing experience. I went in person and waited about an hour just to schedule an appointment. For the consultation, they charged me $40 with my insurance and told me the next step (removing my skin tag) would be covered. They said they would confirm everything with my insurance before my visit, but they clearly did not. After I paid and completed the consultation, they later told me my insurance does NOT cover it. I feel misled and that my time and money were wasted. I do not recommend this place.👎
