I’m usually not one to even make reviews ,but I called to make an appointment as a follow up from an ER visit as a new patient who’s never been to an ophthalmologist , and the lady who answered the phone was absolutely nasty from the second she answered the phone. Very unprofessional and giving me the worst attitude without letting me even explain what the visit was for. That alone turned me away from making an appointment. She answers the phone, i greet her, state my name ,and let her know that I would like to make an appointment as a new patient. She then proceeds to say “we don’t have anything till June”. I follow up with “that’s okay then I was looking to make an appointment as a follow up from an emergency visit, but I will look for another office, thank you though.” She then says “well you didn’t say that. What insurance do you have” and I could literally hear her smack her hand against what sounded like her leg or a desk as if she was upset. I tell her my vision insurance . She says “no if you’re coming from an er visit I need your medicinal insurance, what is it” I said to her the name of my insurance and she says “okay? Which one” with a very nasty attitude list off all the different kinds of insurance groups. I said maam you know what? I don’t even want to make an appointment because you’re being very rude. She said okay! Have a nice day and hangs up on me. Maybe I’m dramatic but she answered the phone with hostility and no guidance whatsoever. I will never be going here. Pick a better receptionist
