I have been going to Graystone Eye since it was located in downtown Hickory and was much smaller (back in the 70's.). Graystone Eye has doctors who care about their patients. They have always provided me with good service. The staff is professional and make sure we patients get where we need to go.

Dr Adair is very thorough in his eye exam, and answered all my questions

Knowledgeable friendly caring staff. I’m preparing for cataract surgery and Dr. Ousler and his staff answered my questions and have put me at ease. Instead of dreading the procedures I now look forward to having better vision.

All the doctors and employees(past and present) are extremely clever, loaded with knowledge, care, kindness and so much more! I never thought I would be able to get something called "Music Glasses!" WOW!!!😃🤩

I’ll never recommend Dr Ousler. Very rude. During my severe stigmatization on both eyes, Dr. Ousler was assigned to me by Dr Chang. Which I didn’t know anything about Ousler. My husband watching the surgery from an adjoining room with window, he saw Ousler cut my eye as well as I saw the blood. Later asking Dr Ousler about that along with my husband, Dr. Ousler denied it, said he didn’t know anything about it. I’m glad after so many years I got this out finally. I hope who reads this to take caution. Dr. Ousler is very rude, told me that “I didn’t know anything about eyes”. Dr. Chang did my cataract surgery and was very nice. I don’t know why he let Dr. Ousler do my Astigmatism, but I regret he ever saw me. He lies, rude to me in front of my husband, as my witness, he noticed everything about Dr. Ousler. Dr. Ousler doesn’t communicate well with his staff. Dr. Ousler had taken out a lens in my eye and the helping assistant came in and tried to remove and made my eye red.

Dr Chang is very knowledgeable and does a thorough exam.

Upon arriving, I received a wonderful greeting. By the check-in staff. Soon after started my work up. Then Dr. Lira came in. Polite as always. She explained everything and was very thorough. Always a calm and relaxing environment. And it helps that all the staff are nice as well.

Dr. Williams is very thorough with his explanation of procedures. He is extremely caring, competent and knowledgeable about his work.

I originally began my relationship with Graystone Eye and Dr. Kelly when I was diagnosed with WMD in my left eye. Dr. Kelly was heading up a funded research project and I became a subject. In the past four years I have been under his care. He is friendly, competent and professional. My eyesight is intact under his guidance and I have complete confidence in his humane and professional diagnostic and treatment protocols.
