Graystone Eye

I had a wonderful experience at Greystone Eye in Boone. The staff was exceptional. The front desk was so kind and welcoming. The contact lens specialist and doctor were so knowledgeable and friendly.

In a bit shell I had an appointment in which the MD said he was not trained and to look up the intervention on the Internet and then they billed me for that not real treatment. No wiggle room, no apologies for their mistake, no modifications or partial billing. The full story: I called and asked do they provide a service. At which I was told they do by one of their nurses. Our phones where disconnected. I called and made an appointment. At which time I was told I would need an eye exam to be treated. I agreed although I already had an exam this year so that I could be treated. Turns out they are not trained in the area I needed help. Then I received a bill for the services. I disputed it, since the reason I went was not achieved. It took more then 6 calls for the hem to fallow up with me and they tried to send me to collections in under 3 months. There billing team insisted that they did not have record of me calling before my appointment therefore, they could not believe me and since the MD said to try looking it up online then that was treatment.

Altho they were very busy, we were seen within 1/2 hour. Madison, the young lady who helped both my husband and me, was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I was very impressed. Dr. Lipscomb and his assistant were thorough and responded to questions. All in all, both of us were impressed.

Fantastic experience with the Graystone Eye-Boone group. Just had cataract surgery and every aspect of the process was a 10+. Could not recommend them more highly!

Had a great appointment at Graystone Eye in Hickory. Everyone was very kind, caring, and efficient. I loved the way they have set up their organization. I thought that Dr. Harris was very nice.

Greystone eye center is the best. I've worn glasses for 65 years. Dr.Oursler said that he could fix my vision problems. I just went for my one year checkup and I'm seeing 20/20 without any glasses. I highly recommend having the laser surgery.

Dr. Lipscomb is very thorough and thinks outside the box

Dr. Williams is an empathetic physician who listened to my concerns and didn't make me feel rushed. I felt assured that I would receive excellent care from him.

Very well organized practice. Staff polite, organized and wiped instruments before testing. . Dr Lipscomb was bright and pleasantly engaging. Did not have any surgery or procedures except for complete eye exam. 5 stars

The Eye exam was on July 22nd with Dr. Harris And it went extremely well and efficiently I had no problems from checking in online and in the office when I arrived. The staff and Nurses were really helpful and knowledgeable and I would recommend them to family and friends and anyone who needs their eyes checked.

This was a recheck for PVD of my right eye. Another doctor was helping out and both doctors gave a thorough examination of both eyes.
