Eye Specialists of Ohio

Ive been going to the eye specialist in chilicothe for over a year now. They have took the time to explain my macular degeneration and show me what it is. I get shots sometimes once a month. They have been very gentle with me. They are great doctors here.

Going to the eye doctor for shots is no fun but they make it less painful. Very good doctor and staff.

I've always thought of eye specialists for eye care, convenient, caring and efficient, just my style. Dr. Schumacher is a professional at his trade, Didn't have any problems with my cataract surgery and I didn't encounter a long wait time . I'm glad I chose them.

I have to get a shot in one eye every 12 weeks due to a retina bleed. The office and care team are professional and kind. Dr. Patel is very efficient and follows the same process so I know what to expect. It's better to have a shot than lose my eyesight.

Dr. Chawla has been my doctor for many years starting when I was just coming for floaters. He was extremely helpful then and continues to be. Although, some years have passed since I was seeing him as a doctor in the Portsmouth area was filling in for glaucoma, pressures, etc. checks. Since he has left Dr. Chawla has filled in the gap and does an excellent job. Checking my pressures, cataract checks, etc. I feel confident that I am in capable hands.

Very busy but still didn’t have a long wait

Had an appointment for 9:30am on 2/11/25 and I have been sitting in the parking lot for 30 min. And there is still no one here and no one answers the phone. This was to be my first visit and no one is in the office. Plus another patient just pulled in as well. And neither of us can enter the building or get someone to answer the phone. Very unprofessional.

He is amazing and comforts you when you're nervous.
