Called 5 times and they never answered. Had to call the Circleville location to get through to Lancaster location. I Told them I had something stuck in my eyelid that was scratching my eye and what insurance I have. They said that they can take care of my eye, they take my insurance, and made me an appointment same day. I get to my appointment, fill out paperwork, wait, then they proceed to tell me they do not take my insurance, nor can they do anything about the thing stuck in my eyelid.

If I could give this man a zero rating I would. He doesn’t show up on time. Dr sagar Patel has a lobby full of people that have been here since 8 AM and he hasn’t shown up and it’s 10 AM. I had an appointment at 9:30 as I Doing the forms that you need I was overhearing someone ask is he here yet? So he got me thinking I better ask too because I have another appointment later on. Sure enough Dr. Patel hasn’t even shown up in the office. How frustrating is that to leave your staff have to advocate for you because you can’t show up in time. And as I have done, I have rescheduled my appointment with another doctor that cares about his patience. I will make sure that Dr. Patel will never be seen by me again.

Super happy I had metal in my eye and no insurance they got me in immediately was very friendly and most important they fixed my eye and the price was reasonable I love these guys they made a very stressful painful situation manageable

Worst doctor experience I’ve ever had….Either the girls in the office do not know what they are doing or they are short staffed…the wait to be taken back to the exam room was fast…however, the wait for the Dr. was long, once he came in he was finished with me in less than a minute…then his assistant left me in the room , stated she would be right back, after over 20 minutes, Someone yelled “can you see what’s going on in room 2?” Which was my room. (I had gotten up and opened the door). Long story short they forgot about me…I was to follow up in 2 weeks. When I was checking out she stated. The Dr is out for 4 weeks, so that will be my next appointment- no prescription was called after 2 days waiting - will not be returning

Had an appointment for 9:30am on 2/11/25 and I have been sitting in the parking lot for 30 min. And there is still no one here and no one answers the phone. This was to be my first visit and no one is in the office. Plus another patient just pulled in as well. And neither of us can enter the building or get someone to answer the phone. Very unprofessional.

He is amazing and comforts you when you're nervous.

Dr Schumacher is a caring and informative surgeon. No question is ever left unanswered before,during or after office or surgery visits. I am extremely pleased with the caring and very professional staff associated with his practice. I would highly recommend.

I have seen Dr. Chawla twice and both times I was impressed by the efficiency of his staff. All my tests were painless and I was well cared for. Dr. Chawla was very thorough in discussing my diagnosis and options available. I was surprised to learn I will eventually need cataract surgery, but Dr. Chawla recommended I wait until the cataract bothered me before scheduling surgery. I was impressed Dr. Chawla wasn't in a hurry to make money from a surgery that might not be needed until a later date.
