Dr. Ple-Plakon was very knowledgeable, friendly, and relatable. She was very down to earth, and she answered my questions. That's the type of interaction I like to experience with my doctors.

Aaleya Koreishi has terrible bedside manner. I left the office crying after my 1 day post-OP appointment because she is so unbelievably mean. She acted like she would rather be anywhere else in the world. She was extremely condescending in response to mine and my husbands questions, and acted like we should already know the answers. Before I could finish asking all of my post-OP questions, she literally walked out of the room snarling that “she had other things to do.” When we walked out of the examination room my husband asked a group of her colleagues if she was having a bad day, to which they replied “it’s always a bad day with her.” That is just completely unacceptable. For the people you work with to say every single day with you is awful? That should be a serious reality check!!! When we told the young lady at the front desk what happened she apologized profusely, and said they get several complaints about her and that even the staff “feels the hostility.” I cannot IMAGINE working with or for someone like that every day of my life. At my 6 week follow up, I went to a different ophthalmologist. I let them know why I was permanently transferring to them from Aaleya Koreishi to which they replied “we have had several patients come to us telling us how rude she is.” DID ALL OF DFW know about this woman’s attitude except for me?!?? lol REALLY though, I would steer clear of this practice! You will be belittled, rushed out, and treated like you are not worth the time of day!

I visited Dr. Koreishi by chance. I was unaware that I had an aggressive bacteria in the cornea flap from my previous Lasik surgery, and my sight was in jeopardy. She is confident, determined, aggressive, and specific—everything you need when your eyesight is compromised. Twelve days later, the bacteria was gone, but there was still some inflammation. My next appointment is in the first week of July. For anyone looking for a cornea expert, Dr. Koreishi is your only choice. It was a challenging and painful experience, and it was frightening to be blind in one eye. But I got through it and I am hopeful that my scar tissue will dissolve, and my vision will be at 100%. I am definitely on the road to recovery! I am grateful for Dr. Koreishi's help and confident in my recovery. Have you ever had a similar experience? I wound up at DR Koreishi’s by chance. I was unaware that I had an aggressive bacteria in the corner of my eye on the flap where I had Lasik surgery years ago and my sight was in jeopardy. She is confident determined, aggressive, and specific! Everything you need when you’re eyesight is compromised. 12 days later no bacteria with some Inflammation and my next appointment is the first week of July. For anyone looking for a cornea expert DR Koreishi is your only choice.It was a long and very painful 12 days and it was frightening to be blind in one eye. But I got through it and I’m praying that my scar tissue dissolves and my vision is at 100% but I am definitely on the road to recovery!
