I tried to make an appt for my mother today. Mom has dementia and is not good at explaining her health problems. Lady with scheduling asked mom’s symptoms. My tells me she sees a dark spot I explain but who really knows. Lady tells me, because your mom sees a dark spot she needs to see a Retina specialist. I say to her, there’s no telling what she actually sees and who are you to be diagnosing people over the phone?!! She wouldn’t help any further! Forget this place! I’m so mad 😡

Would I go to this doctor again….NO!!!!Non-compassionate to patients in pain. Claims unable to prescribe pain meds because she doesn’t treat headaches even though it was caused by my eye issue. I am now blind due to a failed cornea transplant done by her. She never told me it failed. My new cornea doctor had to tell me. Very unprofessional!!! Run don’t walk from this practice.

After ten years of going to a cornea specialist , my insurance changed and I had to find another provider. I am so happy I found Dr. Ple-Plakon! My severe dry eyes were causing havoc in my everyday life. After two months of seeing her, I am able to drive, read, view my phone and return to normalcy. The staff is very kind and professional and Dr. Ple-Plakon is such a wonderful and patient doctor and will go over your treatment and answer any questions one may have. I highly recommend her and her clinic!
