I am deeply disappointed to write this review, as Dr. Aaleya Koreishi performed my original corneal transplant. Today, I came into the clinic in a state of crisis with an active, severe corneal transplant rejection. Instead of receiving compassionate care, I was met with shocking rudeness, hostility, and a complete disregard for my physical safety. I informed Dr. Koreishi that I currently commute an hour and a half for work and am struggling with severe light sensitivity and pain as I try to adjust to sudden vision loss in my right eye. When I asked for a doctor's note for my employer, she was dismissive and almost refused to write the note stating "People who live with one eye can still drive." This is a dangerous and profoundly insensitive medical oversight. There is a massive difference between an individual who has had years to adapt to monocular vision, and an acute patient experiencing a sudden, agonizing graft rejection on a high-speed highway. Her advice put myself and other drivers at risk. Furthermore, when I asked what my clinical options were moving forward, she rudely responded , "I don't know, you just have to come back in two weeks." I left the office in tears and had to sit in my car to cry before I could safely figure out how to get home. Dr. Koreishi failed entirely as a communicator and a physician during a vision-threatening emergency. I am immediately transferring my care to a doctor who respects patient safety, and I am filing a formal complaint with the Texas Medical Board. If you are experiencing a complex eye issue, avoid this provider.

Dr. Ple-Plakon takes time to explain each aspect of the procedure and answers all questions thoroughly. She us kind, caring and very knowledgeable.

I have 20/20 vision after cataract surgery. Office staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I am going back for my other eye.

Dr. Koreishi is one of the finest doctors I have come across. She is a no nonsense Dr. who shows care for her patients. My Cataract surgery was painless conducted flawlessly. I am impressed with her timely execution and would highly recommend her.
