These comments are for the Denver (Lowry) office. I developed a persistent and annoying skin and scalp itch which I worked with my dermatologist over several months to remedy. After trying a number of treatments with no success, my dermatologist suggested seeing an allergist. My spouse and kids have been going to Colorado Allergy and Asthma for years with complete satisfaction, so I set up an appointment. On my first visit I was given the “scratch test” which confirmed what I already knew; I was allergic to animals and pollens. I was later given a more comprehensive “patch test” which revealed that I had developed a skin sensitivity to a large number of product additives (e.g. fragrances). These additives were in the soaps and shampoos I had been using without a problem for years. The medical staff fed the “patch test” results into a phone and online app called SkinSafe which identifies products that are OK for me to use based on my sensitivities which enabled me to replace all of my hygiene products with items I was not sensitive to. My itching problems cleared up dramatically after that. Dr Gogate and especially Dr Young were fantastic and took an in-depth interest in understanding my skin problem, accurately diagnosing it, explaining what was going on and developing effective treatments. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
