When you go to a doctor’s office you expect to feel safe, secure, and taken care of. My daughter has been going to this practice for about 4 months and in that short amount of time, has had her Adderall stolen out of her purse when she left the exam room for blood work or an x-ray not once, but twice. The first time she didn’t notice it was missing till after she got home but knew she had it before she went to this Dr’s office. She suspected it went missing there, called them right away, and they said no sign of it so she thought maybe it had fallen out somewhere. Went there again today about 4 months after the first visit and again was asked to leave her stuff in the exam room while getting an X-ray and noticed it was missing on her way down to the car. She immediately turned around and asked for the office manager who took her seriously but after “investigating”, said there was nothing they could do since they could not legally search their employees and sent her on her way in tears. She called the KC police to report it had been stolen at this doctor’s office and they asked her to come in to the local station which she did and filed an official report. It is clear that this practice is knowingly retaining an employee on staff that is stealing Schedule 2 controlled substances out of patients bags and refusing to address it. Google—if this practice contacts you to try and have this review removed, I will gladly send you a copy of the KC police report with the case number on it to verify. Absolutely a horrendous breech of ethics and medical standards. I would absolutely steer far and wide of this practice if you value your safety and security.
