I normally deal with Dr. Chapman, but he was unavailable for several months so I scheduled an appointment for blood work to get a baseline for testosterone with a Nurse Practitioner (Megan). I have to drive almost 40 min for this and go through the normal weight, blood pressure, etc. checks before Megan came in. She then tells me that doing the labs at this time of the day wouldn't yield accurate results with testosterone....the #1 reason I made the appointment mind you. This was explained in detail with the scheduling dept.
It was a waste of my time, so i walked out and found another doctor. I get a bill in the mail for this inconvenient and purposeless visit and after explaining my situation and experience, they wouldn't even waive the $25. Its not about the amount of money, but rather that they billed my insurance and me for no care actually given.
Find a doctor that cares about patients and a business office that cares about your experience - not frauds like Clay Platte who just want to bill what they can for whatever they can.
