I was very happy with my visit. Dr. O'Day is doing my surgery in his office. And everyone there is so nice.

I took my adult special needs daughter to Dr. O’Day after waiting months for OR time through MUSC. She had a very large cataract in her only functioning eye so she was basically blind. She is normally uncooperative and untrusting of doctors and medical staff and putting drops in her eye is out of the question. Dr. O’Day and his staff were amazing! They treated my husband and I like old friends and her with kid gloves. Dr. O’Day was so gentle in his speech and manner that she actually wanted to cooperate and was able to get a fairly good idea of what he needed to do for her surgery. He met with anesthesia and the hospital staff and set it up for her to have the most relaxed and calm OR experience we’ve ever had. The surgery went great. Today she can see better than she ever has! Dr.O’Day and his team are phenomenal! The best of the best !

1st Opthamologist in 16 yrs to introduce himself upon entering the room and shake my hand. Ive seen 5 Feb to July of 2026. Dr. O'Day was also the first one to read my charts and intakes before entering the room with so much care that he retained the info. I was self referred and got in quickly thanks to his staff filling a cancellation and recognizing the urgency. Thank you Olivia. This is a practice that is passionate about helping their patients not only see better but to understand what they are experiencing which soothed anxieties that I did not realize I'd been holding in.... For the first time in months I know what is going on and I have hope. I am beyond grateful.

Dr. O'Day and his staff always give thorough exams, taking the time to listen to questions and explain in layman's terms. I never feel rushed through my appointments.

Dr. O Day is an excellent surgeon. He removed a pterigium from my cornea two years ago and helped me resolve an issue with dizziness while driving that was caused by my vision. Several other practices had not been able to resolve the issue. He performed cataract surgery two days ago and it was a smooth process with excellent results. I’ll have the other eye done next week. Also, the practice provides top of the line diagnostic equipment (so many precise measurements!) and there is great attention to detail.

It was great! There was a bit of a wait but the technicians performed several tests as did Dr O'Day. I have been seeing a dry eye specialist for years but no one has ever given me these tests which detected the type of dry eye condition that I have. He explained it thoroughly which I really appreciated. After a few days I really noticed a difference!
