Barry Pointe Family Care

I have been a patient at this facility with Dr. Brose for years (11-12) and called to schedule an appointment today. Told I would be a new patient and that Dr. Brose wasn’t taking new patients - sad that this facility has had to make this change without notifying current patients.

I’ve been a patient here for almost 10 years now. Dr.Fisher, Rebecca Poage, and Dr.Camejo are great. I’ve had mostly quality care here until recently. I’ve seen Mellissa wolf a few times the past 2 months for back/neck pain, after my recent visit she was so dismissive and the communication was so shockingly poor I had to talk to the nurse supervisor. Mellissa asked to prescribe me a medication I’m already on, then a medication on my allergy list leading me to believe she does not review patients charts before prescribing and that’s extremely negligent. She let me be in agony over the weekend as well, I had to get treatment from Saint Luke’s because of that. It took her 1 week, 3 calls complaining and 1 time talking to her supervisor to get her to tell me my mri results, and she didn’t even give me all the information. I will never see her again or recommend her and this experience has caused me to seek treatment at a different primary care facility not owned by clay platte. Clay platte quality is abysmal, I was a patient at clay platte from age 10-18 and the quality and communication was awful and I was sad to see Barry pointe sold out to them. Also do not get IPL here. Nikki Pace did 2 IPL treatments on my face 3 years ago and it made no difference and I STILL have white bar marks on each cheek.

I am highly satisfied with the staff, and I must commend Dr. Rebecca Fisher for her exceptional dedication to patient care. Her commitment to ensuring positive patient outcomes and her approachable demeanor, which facilitates open communication regarding any concerns, are truly remarkable. This distinguishes her from some practitioners who may be less accessible. Overall, my experience at this facility has been very positive, and I am pleased with the progress being made.

I have been a patient since 2017 and Barry Pointe is NOT the family practice it once was. : ( Clay - Platte Family Medicine either acquired Barrry Pointe or became partners with them. In Fall 2025, the care quotient dropped within a few months of the transition. My doctor left. The front desk staff disappeared. The triage increased, so I often received multiple calls for the same issue. The patients are only numbers. The doctor care is nil to none and it's hard to get into the office. In the end, I would not go Barry Pointe or any of it's affiliates unless it was my only choice. I am moving with my doctor. Thankfully, her new office takes my insurance.

When people call to speak with someone, they expect to talk with someone who has a little bit of empathy and caring. Unfortunately, the last four times I’ve called, I’ve had the rudest people answering questions, scheduling appointments, no matter what, when you work with the public you should have some semblance of customer service ability.

I was looking for a new provider because my previous doctor was blatantly obvious about being in a hurry to get out of the room. After seeing Dr Camejo several times, I think I found someone who is willing to spend time and not rush through things. She is professional, patient, caring and knowledgeable. She clearly chose to be a doctor for the right reasons.

Answers questions thoroughly. Is laidback yet professional in her approach. Listens well.

Dr Camejo listens to what you are saying. She answers all your questions. Very up to date on new medications and procedures. She is very intelligent and kind.

I am disappointed in this doctor. I was there recently, and he was smoke and mirrors. He claims he partners with his patients, but if you disagree with his treatment, he threatens to drop you.

Dr Kelley's front office scheduled my labs at the wrong location. Took over an hour for them to send the orders to the correct place... in the same building. Spoke with the office manager about the negative experience. Recieved letter that they were dropping me as a patient about a week later. I was dropped mid treatment and have to start over with a new physician. I have requested my medical records 3weeks ago now. Nothing. I wonder if it's Dr. Kelley or his front office that are making these unethical and unprofessional decisions?
